About Steve

Steve Kanowski brings over 40 years of experience as an economist, most recently as a Partner at Deloitte Access Economics and National Transport Sector Lead. His career spans Australia and international markets, including extended periods based in London and Dublin, and project work across more than 20 countries.

Throughout his career, Steve has advised governments, operators, and investors on complex economic and strategic challenges, helping shape major transport initiatives, infrastructure investments, and policy decisions. His work has consistently focused on delivering practical, evidence-based insights.
